A beautiful Valentine's Day in the Napa Valley - near 70 degrees, and a respite from the rain! We spent a lot of time down in the vineyard, watching Jeff's team prune the cabernet vines in Block 2. The pond is full, thanks to all the rain - a good start to the 2010 vintage!

We have sayings around our house, and they resonate with these images. To wit: "up please", "down please", "arms please", "dog", "grass", "car", "dada", "mommy", "walk". We need to join families and together as mutual foils and human label-makers these babes will reveal the secrets of happiness to us all.
