Here are a few shots of Alex this past weekend. He is lifting his head now, and enjoying tummy-time. Gracie is becoming a bit more curious about her new roomate. Alex also wanted us to post pics of this dahlia from the front garden - he is so proud of it (or maybe its his dad that is proud)!

Summer in the City

Well, autumn has arrived, which means clear skies and warm sun in SF. The City is confused with the seasons, particularly those of us west of Twin Peaks. Today was beautiful, and daddy was eager to be outside after a day in the office, so Adair and I (and Alex!) did what we love to do on those rare warm SF days - to the beach! We had dinner at the Park (aka Beach) Chalet, sitting outside with tons of other families. Alex behaved the entire dinner (read: slept!).

Blessing

We had the Blessing a week ago at the farm in Napa. A beautiful day, and a wonderful ceremony. Thank you so much to the Tench's for hosting such a great event!

Family time

What a week! (two weeks actually). Alex had visits from Mom and Bob and Brooke and Abby and Margaret. Wow! It was so nice to see everyone and spend so much quality time together.

Grandma and Papa and Uncle Sean

We had a busy weekend, with a lot of visitors. Grandma and Poppa arrived from Denver, and Uncle Sean was in town for a few days. We all spent tons of time together on Saturday and Sunday, with some other special guests dropping by as well (Jill and Chris and Ale!). Alex was overwhelmed with love and affection.

Yesterday we enjoyed the beautiful weather and took a walk at Ocean Beach. Alex did well, and mom was glad for the change of scenery!
