Margaret and Rem visit Napa

A couple of weeks ago we spent the day in Napa with Maggie and Rem and a couple of their friends from NYC. Another glorious summer day in Napa.

CW visits Baby Willard's cousin Abby (and family) in Denver

CW had a nice long weekend visit to Denver last month. Baby Willard's cousin (and Adair & CW's goddaughter) Abigail Taylor Grace Jones is about as cute as they come. It was great to see everyone, including Mom, Bob, Brooke, Tim, and Grandma.

Over the weekend Ale hosted a wonderful Baby shower - what a turnout! I was overwhelmed, and very grateful. The decorations were very creative (and functional!), and the food at Jon on Jordan's was delicious. Thanks to everyone's generosity, Baby Willard will be wearing the latest fashions and will have plenty of toys to play with. He will also keep warm with the beautiful blankets and quilts handmade by family and friends (and a fabulous cashmere cardigan!). And he will of course also keep safe and sound in his new car seat, highchair, and snap-and-go. We are blessed with wonderful friends and family.  It was so great seeing everyone!!

Mendocino

We went to Mendo in May for one last romantic getaway. We got lucky and had warm and sunny weather for the first couple of days, before the normal fog and mid-60's rolled back in. CW got to explore the Big River by kayak, while Adair got a massage. We had a wonderful dinner at Cafe Beaujolais. Also got to explore some wineries in the Anderson Valley on the way home. 

34 weeks along, and enjoying the sun in Napa. Mom and baby (and the 2008 vintage!) are doing well.
