We strolled down to 7th and Lawton to visit our neighborhood pumpkin patch.

Alex meets his great grandma

Alex and Co. flew to Denver for a SURPRISE 90th birthday celebration for Great-grandma Adams. We got to meet some new family members and catch up with others we saw just weeks ago. It was a great trip - thanks to Grandma Margie and Papa for arranging the whole thing! Alex and cousin Abby love each other very much - she must have given him 1,000 kisses over the 4 day weekend. Alex did great on the flight out and back (mom and dad were so relieved)!

Summer is back! Another beautiful weekend in the Bay Area. We went to Adrian's one-year birthday party, where Alex enjoyed some attention (and shut-eye!). Jen Sannan just can't seem to get enough of the little guy.

We are playing around with nicknames. At least daddy is. Smiley is the current favorite.
